My name is Dahlia, I am a Nurse Case Manager with Ascendant Health. I graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Art in Nutrition and Food Sciences & a minor in Health Psychology in 2021. I went back to WSU to pursue my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduated in 2023. I started my nursing career working in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Center and now concurrently work at Ascendant Health. I will be furthering my career by starting my Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree at the University of Michigan this fall. I previously worked with a case manager while my family member was hospitalized, and it made me realize how important this work is. I hope to be a strong support system for my patients and am passionate about creating strong professional relationships in the healthcare industry. I hope to make a difference in my patient's lives. While I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cycling, pickleball, and trying out new food spots in Metro Detroit!
