My name is Saber and I am the Director of Nursing at Ascendant Health. I graduated with my BSN in 2020 from Wayne State University. Upon graduation, I began my nursing career working as an ER nurse at the Detroit Medical Center. I made the transition from bedside to case management challenging myself to see patient care beyond the inpatient setting. I knew providing compassionate care, advocating for others, and giving comfort to my patients gave me assurance on why I chose this pathway. Since joining Ascendant, I have found myself to have a better work-life balance and truly feel content with the company. Outside of work, I enjoy working out at the gym, going on a nature walk, and spending time with loved ones.
